I believe design should be strategic and functional to be effective, not merely aesthetic. Its ultimate goal is to serve the brand's objectives. To achieve this, design cannot take place within a vacuum. It requires collaboration. And it involves the constant balance of craft, experience, critical thinking, intuition and risk. Because of this, the very nature of design and the design process calls for motion, growth and exploration. It is fluid, not stagnant. That is why design isn't just a project or an occupation. It is a way of life.
A little about me I am a third culture kid (TCK) born in Nairobi, Kenya to missionary parents. I grew up in Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Michigan, Liberia and The Philippines. I spent two years in Thailand and a summer in S. Korea teaching ESL. Being a creative problem solver and adventurer I eventually found my passion in design and completed my B.S. in graphic design.
I’ve had the opportunity to work in-house, for agencies and as a freelancer. I have designed for print, exhibit, POS, web and mobile projects of all sizes. I am equally capable in photography and some videography. Here's a list of brands I've worked for:
