Design shines when it’s strategic and functional, not just aesthetic. Its ultimate goal is to serve the brand and its customers. To achieve this, design cannot take place within a vacuum. It requires collaboration and involves the constant balance of competing factors. Because of this, the very nature of design and the design process calls for motion, growth, change, and exploration. It is fluid and doesn’t remain in stasis. That is why design isn't just a project or an occupation. It is a way of life.
A little about me
I am a third culture kid (TCK) born in Nairobi, Kenya to missionary parents. I grew up in Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Michigan, Liberia, and The Philippines. I spent two years in Thailand and one summer in S. Korea teaching ESL. Being a creative problem solver and adventurer I eventually found my passion in design and completed my B.S. in graphic design.
I’ve had the opportunity to work in-house, for agencies, and as a freelancer. I have designed for print, exhibit, POS, web, and mobile projects of all sizes. I am equally capable in photography and videography. Here's a list of brands I've worked for:
